Contract to Hire
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00/hr., depending on experience
Shift: M - F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Determine possible failures to determine the necessary repairs and / or replacements.
- Repair vehicles, systems, and other components; replace systems or parts necessary to ensure the availability and good condition of vehicles and equipment.
- Execute preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in top condition and pass monthly inspections.
- Assist in determining a vehicle rotation program to ensure vehicles are available daily and in good condition.
- Prepare work orders in a timely fashion to make repairs to the vehicles and meet the demands of daily operations; make maintenance recommendations to improve vehicle performance.
- Request spare parts needed for the maintenance of the vehicles.
- Maintain and prepare documents for each vehicle; record the repairs made to each vehicle in the fleet.
- Maintain tools, equipment and workshop area in order and inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years related maintenance & repairs experience
- Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL preferred
- ASE Certifications a huge plus
