Summary: Experienced Diesel Technicians/Mechanics are needed to perform maintenance work on a Fleet of Extensive Diesel Engine Heavy Duty Trucks and Trailers, consisting of mostly preventative maintenance: transmissions, air/hydraulic brakes etc., and other projects assigned by the shop manager.
Primary Duties:
- Preventative Maintenance
- Oil Changes
- Air/hydraulic brakes
- Suspensions
- Transmissions
- General Maintenance
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working on heavy duty diesel equipment is required
- A valid Class B CDL is required (or must be able to obtain one)
- Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components
- Must provide a complete set of basic hand tools
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
