Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Position Responsibilities (subject to change by employer):- Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of trucks and/or forklifts
- Inspects, trouble shoots, diagnoses and performs maintenance on equipment
- Performs safety inspections of equipment and prepares safety documents required by DOT, company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations
- Interprets work orders and technical manuals
- Repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems
- Tests repaired equipment for proper performance and ensures that the work meets manufacturer’s specifications and legislated regulations
Job Requirements
Qualified Candidates For The Position Will Have Meet The Following:
- Required:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a minimum of one-year experience and/or completion of trade school
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment
- Must have own tools
- Must know general repairs and PM criteria
- Valid Commercial drivers license
Working Conditions:- Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 70 lbs., at least once a day.
