Temporary School Bus Mechanic Position
Diesel Technician/Mechanic Position Job Description:
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on coach and city diesel engine buses
- Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics with limited supervision.
- Complete most repairs and parts replacements.
- Accurately complete written record of work performed.
- Communicate with Drivers regarding “Vehicle Condition Reports" and make appropriate repairs.
- Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed.
- Requires flexibility on hours
- Other duties may be assigned.

Transit Bus Lead Technician
Shift will be 6am - 6pm (Flexible)
- Will be performing PM tasks and minor repairs on ELdorado buses, Gillig buses, and Chevy cutaways. Lead, managerial, or foreman experience an added plus
- This lead tech will be asked to mentor other techs at the location and also must have the ability to work with customers as well
- Union facility. Will have to enter the union if/when going direct.
- Looking for very strong seasoned technicians. Techs that can work independently at a lead capacity. Previous foreman, lead, or managerial experience a definite plus. Someone that is a self starter and capable of working with both customers and also mentoring the other technicians.

- 2 years of mechanic experience; Diesel experience preferred; Gillig and/or ELdorado experience preferred;Must have a Class B CDL with (air brake and passenger endorsement - this is mandatory)

An Experienced Project Laborer/Mechanic is needed to perform various repairs and retrofit activities on Transit Buses for our client in Venice, CA.
Overview:
Remove existing vehicle components and replace with updated designs.
Modify, reinforce or reinstall existing components.
Inspect and repair vehicle defects as identified by supervisor.
Test and confirm vehicle system functions as directed by supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results and work performed.
Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.

- Requirements:
- 2+ years of mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience related to buses, trucks and or motor home required; Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electric hand tools required; Must provide a basic set of tools; GED or High School Diploma preferred; Must possess a valid clear driver's license.
